The year is 2009. Tedd just started his freshman year at ASU, moving from his hometown in Minnesota. Meanwhile, Caitlan had just moved from Korea to Arizona to start middle school. Completely different stages of life - if you can't tell by the photo.

It wasn’t until one fateful day, 11 years later, that their paths finally crossed on Bumble.

Cue the pandemic. By this point, they had gone on four dates when the world shut down. They navigated the uncertainty together — and Tedd pulled out all the stops with his cooking skills.

Their first selfie together in Sedona. Smitten would be an understatement.

They made things official on their first out-of-state trip to Zion.

Schoogie — named after the Yiddish word “mashugana” (meaning a little crazy) — joined the family. He’s incredibly well-behaved, the biggest Velcro dog, and brings the perfect amount of chaos to the mix.

Caitlan had a suspicion something was up... mostly because Tedd spent two weeks walking all over Europe with a mysterious padlock attached to his backpack...

After 10 months of intense (and very stealthy) planning, Tedd popped the question with the most romantic proposal at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris.
